The quick dry foam inside the cushions lets the water run through and means the cushions will dry out quickly if left out in the bad weather.

A thick, luxury bench cushion with a firm foam insert. The bench cushion cover is made with a white, grey and bright yellow cotton fabric in an Emma J shipley design. The pattern on the fabric shows tropical birds, insects and feathers. The bench cushion has a white background and the edges of the foam cushion has piping in yellow velvet upholstery fabric.

Using the customer's measurements, these two bench cushions have been made to order using firm upholstery foam with a dacron wrap. The wadding on the foam gives a plump, luxury finish between the hand buttoned tufting. The two window seat cushions both have piped edges and have been made in Yorkshire by a small local family company. The fabric used for the bench cushion coevrs is a hard wearing, stain resistant fabric with a woven, multi tonal look in blue shades. The blue window cushions are complemented with mustard yellow throw cushions with leaf and meadow designs.

Meet the Makers

Sew Versatile was set up by Becky back in 2014 to fulfil her goal of becoming a self employed seamstress. Fast forward a few years, a few hurdles and a pandemic and Sew Versatile is now, in spite of everything, the business she always dreamed it could be.

Everything is hand made by Becky and her recently recruited husband, Vik, in their workspace in the beautiful county of West Yorkshire on a small army of sewing machines.
